Clearly one of the players Tottenham are trying to get rid of before the end of the transfer window, Davinson Sánchez could end up heading to France.
That’s according to L’Equipe, who push the idea that Stade Rennais are trying their best to convince Spurs to sell the Colombian.
While that shouldn’t be too difficult as an idea, Tottenham are said to want a fee of around €10-15m to let him go, and the Ligue 1 side have yet to offer that.
According to the French newspaper, Rennes have put forward a €9m bid for the centre-back, and the Premier League side have ‘yet to answer’.
That’s when the €10-15m fee is mentioned as the asking price, as the Brittany based side are after an experienced defender over the next few days.
They have seemingly set their sights firmly on Tottenham’s centre-back, having now entered a ‘more concrete’ part of their plan, by putting money on the table.
While Spurs haven’t responded yet, the general feeling here is that the €9m will be turned down, although whether that message is accompanied by a counter-offer remains to be seen.
