Leicester City midfielder Wilfred Ndidi has an approach from Galatasaray for a summer move, according to reports today.
The information is brought by Matteo Moretto, who, on Twitter, claims the 27-year-old is wanted by the Turkish club.
The journalist claims that Galatasaray made contact by asking more about Ndidi’s current situation at Leicester City.
The midfielder has his contract with the Foxes expiring at the end of the month, and despite reports about the club’s wish to give him a renewal, that wasn’t signed so far.
That situation has seen him linked to a few destinations recently, with even Barcelona being presented as a possibility, and we’re still to see what his decision will be.
In case those rumours are true, then Galatasaray would probably need to make a big effort to convince him to make a switch to Turkey.
With 36 appearances, Ndidi was an important piece in Leicester City’s campaign for the promotion to the Premier League, and the club would certainly appreciate him staying there for a very important year with their return to the top flight.
