As São Paulo never get tired of chasing Lucas Moura, they’ve reportedly made new contacts eyeing the signing of the Tottenham Hotspur player.

This is an update brought by journalist André Hernan, who, on YouTube, claims there was now a Christmas call between the Tricolor and the 30-year-old.

According to the report, São Paulo officials called the Tottenham attacker to send their Christmas wishes and to reaffirm that when the time comes for him to make a decision about his future, they’ll be waiting for him.

Lucas is set to wait until the end of the season to evaluate the offers that will be on the table, he’ll only consider a return to Brazil should there not be any good options in Europe.

It’s said São Paulo are ready to negotiate his comeback, and given his love for the club, they shall be the first Brazilian side he’ll speak to.

There is an insistence that Lucas Moura’s contract with Tottenham expires in the summer and he’ll be a free agent, despite many outlets claiming his deal would run until 2024.
