With Moise Kean still struggling for game time at Juventus this season and Max Allegri seemingly not all that interested in handing him many minutes, a return to Everton has been touted.

The problem with that, however, is that the Toffees don’t have any real incentive to agree to it, knowing full well they will get at the very least €7m from the two-year loan deal, even if the forward never features again for the Serie A side.

Of course, Everton would rather him play and the loan be made permanent, which would give them €31m on top of that, but that’s something Juventus want to avoid.

Instead, they would like to sign Giacomo Raspadori from Sassuolo, and Calciomercato have an article on the situation on Friday.

This all means that ‘an emergency exit on the Kean front therefore seems necessary’, which would then allow Juventus to ‘step on the accelerator’ to sign the Bentivoglio native.

It’s pointed out they wanted Raspadori last year too, but the window to get him ‘had become too tight’ and ‘there was no time to define an operation’.

Thus, they turned to Everton for a quick deal involving Kean, which is one they are now regretting and trying to desperately get out of.
