Galatasaray could be signing Victor Lindelof from Manchester United this summer, according to the latest claims from Turkey.
Aspor today writes that the Istanbul side are looking to strengthen their defence very soon, and have chosen their favourite target.
The club seem determined to bring Lindelof to the squad, and the outlet points out what a ‘sensational transfer’ that could be.
It just remains to be seen how much Galatasaray would like to pay for the defender, as there’s still one season left on his contract with the Red Devils.
Lindelof is currently valued by Transfermarkt at €14m, and it would actually be no surprise if Galatasaray expect Manchester United to sell him for less. That’s the usual approach from Super Lig clubs and the Red Devils haven’t been good sellers for a while.
Manchester United have been having many injury problems in their defence this season, and the Swedish player is part of it. He first had a groin injury which left him out for weeks, and hasn’t played in April due to a hamstring problem.
