Sent out on loan to Middlesbrough F.C. for the second half of the campaign, Harold Moukoudi has shown some promising signs of adapting to English footballs in his games for the Championship side.

A regular under Jonathan Woodgate, the 22-year-old has found game time harder to come by under Neil Warnock, making just one appearance, as a defensive midfielder, in the 1-0 loss against QPR.

The club extended his stay at Riverside so that he could be available to the new manager for the remainder of the campaign, after which a decision will need to be made.

But! Football Club in France explain the board at Saint-Etienne, where he is currently under contract, are ‘hoping to sell him’ straight after the season ends, but they aren’t sure where yet.

The website explain it could be ‘at Boro or another English club’, but the bottom line is, the Ligue 1 side want the funds from a potential transfer, looking for an immediate profit after acquiring him on a free from Le Havre last summer.

The defender has made eight appearances since joining Middlesbrough, picking up one assist and two yellow cards along the way.
