Ajansspor’s Ekrem Konur has claimed Fenerbahce are interested in signing Reading striker George Puscas, as a possible replacement for Vedat Muriqi.

Muriqi has been strongly linked with a move away from the club with the likes of Tottenham Hotspur, Napoli and Lazio said to be interested in his services.

It’s reported Fener will clearly look to replace him if he leaves the club and, according to Konur, Puscas is their target.

The Romanian attacker was linked with a move to Fenerbahce earlier this year with claims the Super Lig club’s former sporting director Damien Comolli watched him in action.

At the time it was claimed they were impressed with the Reading player and could look to move in on him.

After joining Reading from Inter last summer for €8m, the 24 year old has made 33 appearances for Mark Bowen’s side in all competitions, scoring 11 goals.

His contract with Reading will expire at the end of June 2024.
