Earlier today, we covered a story explaining that Naby Keïta’s agents are trying to find the Liverpool midfielder a new landing spot as his contract at Anfield expires in the summer.
Well, he isn’t the only one who is in that situation, as Roberto Firmino, who has been used far less this season following the arrival of Darwin Nuñez and then Cody Gakpo.
There have been a number of stories suggesting the player could still renew at Liverpool, but with nothing concrete seemingly on the way, there are also reports of him being offered elsewhere.
That’s what Gazzetta dello Sport put forward on Thursday, as they explain that Inter are having the Brazilian ‘waved under their noses’.
The Brazilian is someone ‘they do not mind’ and certainly could give him a look if they decide to part ways with Romelu Lukaku, who hasn’t lived up to expectations this season following a string of injuries.
Firmino does fit into the parameters of what they are looking for, but it ‘all depends’ on what the club do with the Belgian first.
Since joining Liverpool from Hoffenheim, the 31-year-old has scored 107 goals and assisted another 78 in 348 appearances in all competitions for the Anfield side.
