According to Sportbladet, Malmo will bring in Leeds United forward Marcus Antonsson to replace the outgoing Alexander Jeremejeff.
Yesterday it was reported Antonsson was close to signing for the Swedish champions and now this is looking very likely with Alexander Jeremejeff signing for Hacken.
However, the Leeds United player may not be announced as a Malmo player today despite the club saying on Twitter he would be officially presented at 4pm Swedish time.
They’ve since had to backtrack on this by saying they are still waiting on paperwork before the 28 year old is signed.
It always seemed likely Antonsson would leave Leeds United in this transfer window as he’s surplus to requirements with the Championship club.
The player has been linked with moves to Italy and Sweden this summer and now he’s very close to a return to his home country after two seasons in England.
