PSV Eindhoven are keen on a late deal for Burnley’s Conrad Jaden Egan-Riley, reviving their interest from the summer on deadline day of the January window.
That’s according to Voetbal International, who report the Dutch side are looking for a loan deal with an option to buy.
They explain that PSV have moved for Egan-Riley as he has not played a single minute for Burnley this season, leading them to believe they can get their man finally.
They wanted the defender in the summer transfer window but were unable to get a deal over the line in time and so ended up missing out.
That has not killed their interest, though, and they now want to revive that with a very late move on the final day of the winter window.
The plan is to sign him on loan from Burnley until the summer and then assess a permanent move at that point, with Egan-Riley initially going into the Jong PSV squad who compete in the Keuken Kampioen Divisie.
Whether Burnley will sanction a deal is unknown but there seems little reason not to given the player is very much not a part of Vincent Kompany’s plans, at least if his lack of appearances this season are anything to go by.
