With the season coming to an end, Alex Telles is set to rejoin Manchester United.
The Brazilian spent the season loaned to Sevilla, and following the 38 appearances made for the La Liga side, he’s on his way back to Old Trafford, where he has a contract until 2024.
It turns out that Turkey may be an option for him next season, because according to NTV Spor, Galatasaray are interested in signing Telles from Manchester United.
It’s said that even though ‘no official steps’ have been taken for the transfer yet, his situation is ‘being followed’ by the Istanbul side.
This wouldn’t be the first time Galatasaray have Telles, as the player belonged to the club between 2014 and 2016, when he left for Porto.
The 30-year-old doesn’t seem to be in Manchester United’s plans, as back when Erik ten Hag arrived at the club, the left-back was immediately sent to Sevilla on loan, and the Red Devils made the signing of Tyrell Malacia for his place.
So in case Galatasaray want to pay a fee for the transfer, that could be an interesting option for all involved, as we doubt the Red Devils will hold out for too much.
