Greek website Sdna report Olympiacos are interested in signing Aston Villa attacker Anwar El Ghazi.
The Greek giants are in the market for a winger, and they’ve also been linked with Fenerbahce’s Garry Rodrigues and Southampton’s Sofiane Boufal.
It seems El Ghazi is their latest target and Sdna report the 25 year old could leave Villa to make a fresh start.
With Dean Smith having the likes of Trezeguet, Jack Grealish and Bertrand Traore at his disposal, it’s claimed this could result in the Dutchman finding a new club.
Sdna adds a loan move is the likeliest option at this stage and they also note El Ghazi is represented by Jorge Mendes’ Gestifute, who have been working closely with Olympiacos in the last few years.
Aston Villa signed El Ghazi from Lille in 2019 for €9m after an impressive loan spell with the English club during the 2018/19 season.
The former Ajax player made 40 appearances in all competitions last season, scoring six goals and providing seven assists. His contract will expire at the end of June 2023.
