Fenerbahce have ‘intensified their close contacts’ with Tottenham forward Lucas Moura ahead of a move for him in the summer.
That’s according to Haber 7, who say the Turkish side met with the player’s agent as he is one of the ‘priority names’ on their transfer list.
Moura is out of contract at Tottenham at the end of the season and has been linked with several moves as a result.
Fenerbahce are one of those thought to be keen on his signature and his agent admitted earlier this month that he had been holding various meetings about a transfer.
Haber say that one of those has seen him sitting down with Fenerbahce, who are very much ‘in the race’ for Moura’s signature.
They are determined to add ‘strong names’ to their squad and compete for the title next season, and consider the Tottenham man a target.
The club have been ‘closely following’ him at Tottenham and have now ‘intensified’ their close contacts with his agent in the hope of getting an agreement over the line.
Whether those talks were successful or what numbers were discussed isn’t mentioned, just that there’s been further talks about him making the switch to the Super Lig this summer.
