Turkish newspaper Aksam report Fenerbahce are still looking to bring in Liverpool forward Divock Origi but they are only willing to offer a loan deal for the Belgian striker.
Aksam say Liverpool are looking for offers of £26m for Origi, and Fenerbahce understandably can’t afford to offer such a sum.
Despite this initial disappointment, Aksam report Fenerbahce will continue to pursue Origi and they are ready to knock on Liverpool’s door once again with a loan deal.
It’s claimed the Belgian striker is Fenerbahce manager Phillip Cocu’s first choice target and the Turkish club are all set to step up their pursuit for him.
Origi is expected to leave Liverpool alongside Danny Ings, who’s been linked with a move to Crystal Palace.
Aksam said the backup option for the Turkish club is Leicester City’s Islam Slimani but the Yellow Canaries will do everything in their power to land the Liverpool player.
