Beşiktaş are talking to Wolverhampton Wanderers about a deal for defender Emmanuel Agbadou in the January transfer window.
That’s according to Fotomaç. They report that Beşiktaş are working to strengthen their defence next month and talks are already underway with Wolves.
They explain that having ‘suffered greatly’ due to individual errors this season, Beşiktaş want to change things up. Reports over the last week have linked them with a move for Agbadou as a result. In fact, one report stated that he was at the top of their transfer wish list.
Fotomaç now report that contact has begun between Wolves and Beşiktaş over a transfer. There is no indication of whether they’re discussing a loan deal or a permanent transfer.
Previous reports have indicated that they’d want a loan with an option to buy. That’s a normal practice for Turkish clubs, particularly in January, so it wouldn’t be surprising if that was the case.
Either way, talks are now on between Wolves and Beşiktaş for Agbadou. It’s also been claimed that he’s keen on the move, despite only moving to Molineux in January last year. It’s certainly one to keep an eye on with the window fast approaching.
