Galatasaray have included Watford midfielder Yaser Asprilla in their target list late in the winter market, according to Takvim.
The transfer window in Turkey closes on Friday and it gives the Istanbul club time to further bolster their squad.
They are looking for an attacking minded player and the Watford man is the new name on their agenda.
Valérien Ismaël has used the 20-year-old mainly on the right wing, while has deployed him on the left side of the attack and as an attacking midfielder on a few occasions this season. He’s managed four goals and five assists from 30 games.
It’s explained that the Turkish club’s scouts have conducted a detailed report on the versatile player and presented it to their leaders. In addition to this, Galatasaray manager Okan Buruk has ‘approved Asprilla’, meaning to go ahead with this potential deal.
Galatasaray are running out of time and have to act quickly if they wish to sign the Colombia international before Friday’s deadline.
Takvim don’t mention whether the South American or Watford are open to parting ways, but if they do, the Hornets can’t bring in a replacement immediately.
