It appears that Real Madrid are about to make their first move for Harry Kane, if Cadena SER in Spain are to be believed.

This news comes relayed by Sport, with explained that the La Liga giants, who need to sign a replacement for Karim Benzema, are ready to move for the Spurs star.

It’s reported that the ‘initial offer’ will be of €80m, but Real Madrid, who have a history of dealing with Tottenham, know that Daniel Levy ‘will try to raise the figure’ to at least €100m.

The Spaniards are ‘aware of the harshness’ of the Tottenham CEO, who is ‘allergic to giving up’ and they are ‘prepared for weeks of intense negotiations’.

Not only that, but they also know the contract Real Madrid will offer Kane, with that being a three-year deal, since he’s already 29 years of age, at €11m net per season, meaning that’s what he will pocket after tax.

That’s a huge deal for the Tottenham star, who would then get a chance of regularly challenging for titles as well as play in the Champions League on a yearly basis.

Something to keep an eye on, but with Benzema now leaving, it all appears to be accelerating around the England international.
