He may not have played that much for Leicester City, but the impact Cengiz Ünder has had on the pitch so far is undeniable.

Despite starting just two games under Brendan Rodgers this season, totalling six appearances, the winger has managed to contribute with three assists, showcasing just why the Foxes decided to gamble on him this year on a loan with a view to buy.

Paying an initial €3m for his services this season, Leicester have the option to pay AS Roma a further €24m if they so wish to make the move permanent.

Gazzetta dello Sport explain on Friday that Ünder’s good start at King Power Stadium ‘bodes well’ for the Italians cashing in on their asset, seeing as Paulo Fonseca was happy to do without him for the current campaign.

It’s a far cry from what’s happening with Robin Olsen at Everton, since the Swede has only featured once so far, and few would have predicted such an impressive start by the Turkey international.

Add to that the fact Ünder himself has admitted he never imagined feeling so at home with the Premier League side, and it’s a recipe to make everybody happy.
