Coming off the back of a very good season at Anderlecht, Lukas Nmecha has a big decision to make in the summer.

Expected to return to Manchester City for the beginning of the transfer window at the very least, the German striker could return to his current side if they pay up or simply head elsewhere.

A future at the Etihad looks difficult to achieve, and the Premier League club could decide to cash in on one of their in-form players while they can.

Anderlecht and former Manchester City defender Vincent Kompany would love to keep Nmecha around, but their financial struggles could make that difficult.

According to Het Nieuwsblad, relayed by Voetbal24, Antwerp could offer the ideal solution for all involved, allowing the player to remain in Belgium all the while giving the Cityzens the money they will be looking for.

It’s explained Antwerp, who are allegedly ‘charmed’ by the striker, ‘are wealthier than RSCA, and that plays an important role for the negotiations with Manchester City’.

The problem for them is that Nmecha ‘would lean towards a definitive transfer to Anderlecht’ with his entourage state ‘the club is in his heart’.

This could be a lengthy saga this summer if more and more clubs come knocking, with every one becoming a bigger obstacle for Kompany and co.
