Considering the number of articles that have been written on the subject, it’s almost guaranteed that Antonio Conte, in some shape or form, would like to see Stefan De Vrij at Tottenham next season.

The Dutchman was a key member of his title winning squad at Inter, and with him not playing as regularly at Inter this season under Simeone Inzaghi, a deal could be struck.

Another reason is the fact his current contract in Italy ends in 2023, which would make a transfer this season affordable for a number of clubs, including Tottenham.

After all, it’s been said the Italian manager has personally requested the Netherlands international to Fabio Paratici, with it also stated that he would be his main sponsor when it comes to a potential transfer.

Well, Tuttosport seem to suggest he would be rather cheap as well, as Inter-News, relaying the newspaper, explain he is worth far less than other players, mostly because of his age and the fact he has hasn’t had an ‘exceptional year’.

In fact, Inter ‘would be happy to collect €20m from his sale’, which could be exactly what Antonio Conte, Fabio Paratici and Tottenham as a whole will want to hear going into the summer transfer window.

He would be a trusted option that would need little time to adapt to what the Italian manager wants, all the while allowing him to try something new in his career.
