On Wednesday morning, we saw Italian outlet TuttoMercatoWeb claiming AC Milan have placed a new bid to buy Christian Pulisic from Chelsea.
It was said the Rossoneri were now putting €20m on the table, and there was hope of a deal ‘in a short time’.
Now as outlet Sport Italia feature a story on this chase, they also show optimism regarding the transfer of the Chelsea player.
Their information is a little different, with them claiming Milan actually raised their offer to €22.1m.
Pulisic himself is said to be very keen on the transfer, as he ‘never wanted to consider’ any other destination but Milan.
That’s why the Rossoneri are said to have ‘great confidence’ in signing Pulisic, who’s been a ‘priority’ for them at the beginning of the window.
Sport Italia don’t make it clear whether this last bid should be enough for the agreement, but there’s undoubtedly the feeling that Milan are getting closer to what Chelsea request.
With many reports saying Pulisic only wants that destination, it seems that will be decisive for the Blues to let him move there.
