Anthony Martial hasn’t featured for Manchester United since their league defeat to AFC Bournemouth on December 9th.
The 28-year-old has struggled with injuries at Old Trafford and is currently sidelined with a groin problem.
That hasn’t stopped Fenerbahçe from considering a move for the Manchester United man in the summer, according to Fotomaç.
Martial’s deal lasts until the end of this season. The Red Devils have an option to extend it for another year, but the report states the Frenchman has been informed they won’t be exercising it.
This has alerted the Yellow Canaries and they are keen on securing the forward’s services on a free transfer in the summer.
Fenerbahçe sporting director Mário Branco is leading the transfer pursuit and has received ‘full authority’ from the club’s board to try and sign the former AS Monaco man.
The Manchester United attacker has been on the Istanbul club’s agenda since the start of this season.
It’s said Fenerbahçe are ‘very insistent’ on Martial and through Branco, have ‘accelerated their contacts’ with his agent.
Martial has two goals and two assists from 19 games for Manchester United this season.
