Still contracted to Swansea, André Ayew could still leave the Liberty Stadium this summer despite Steve Cooper’s preference to keep him around.
With seemingly few avenues to explore this summer for an exit, the Ghanaian was eventually used by the Swans, first against Northampton Town (where he picked up two assists) and then Preston North End.
However, an exit path did present itself recently, according to Le10 Sport in France, as Bordeaux in Ligue 1 recently gathered information about the forward, showing they are thinking about making a move for him as they look to bolster their attack.
Unfortunately, it’s explained things are off to a difficult start as Ayew is reportedly uninterested about returning to France.
Making a name for himself at Marseille before heading to Swansea on loan, it appears the Ghana international would rather experience a new adventure rather (in the Championship?) than going back to a league he already knows.
