Fanatik report Besiktas have found their new goalkeeper for next season and will target Basaksehir FK’s Volkan Babacan as a replacement for Loris Karius, who’s currently on loan from Liverpool.

The Turkish newspaper claim Besiktas will part ways with Karius once his loan deal expires at the end of the season and that they are currently looking at their options.

The Liverpool owned keeper has had ups and downs during his loan spell with the Black Eagles, but his recent performances have been poor.

He’s struggled to find any kind of consistency and it seems the Super Lig club’s new manager Sergen Yalcin has other plans for the goalkeeping position for next season.

The 26 year old still has one year left on his current Liverpool contract, yet it’s likely he’ll be elsewhere next season if he leaves Besiktas.

Karius has made 28 appearances for Besiktas and conceded 42 goals, whilst keeping seven clean sheets this season.
