Anderlecht have ‘found an agreement’ with Brentford for midfielder Sergi Canos but he is still holding out for a move to Valencia.
That’s according to Walfoot, who say the player ‘wants to wait a little bit’ before deciding on a potential move to Belgium.
They explain that Canos departure from Brentford has taken ‘several twists and turns’ in the space of the last few days.
He has been heavily linked with Anderlecht and ‘it would appear’ that the La Liga club is his preferred destination this summer.
Anderlecht have managed to reach an agreement with Brentford to bring Canos to the club, but he would like to wait and see if Valencia can do the same as they are his priority.
The problem is that the Spanish side don’t have the ability to put their hand in their wallet at this moment in time and would instead like to bank on end of season bonuses to satisfy Brentford.
That’s something the Bees are ‘not too keen on’, thus seemingly giving Anderlecht an advantage but they’ve been held back by Canos for the time being.
He’s holding out for his dream move to Valencia and seemingly isn’t interested in other moves as a result for now.
