Despite the advanced movements that Southampton and Besiktas had for the transfer of Lyanco, it now seems that transfer could get delayed a bit.
A report from TRT Spor journalist Firat Gunayer now claims there’s been a problem during the player’s medicals with the Istanbul club.
The Turkish journalist claims that Lyanco’s first medical check at Besiktas revealed he has a ‘cartilage problem’.
There are discussions being held to guess whether the Southampton player needs surgery or if he’d get better just by resting.
It’s claimed that Besiktas’ doctors have already checked Lyanco once again, and the club are now set to make a decision on what to do.
The report in no time mentions the deal with Southampton could be off, even though the Turkish side clearly seem concerned about the situation.
Even though the defender only made 30 appearances for the Saints last season, an injury wasn’t a problem, even because he started in their last seven Premier League matches.
The deal between Besiktas and Southampton remains a mystery, as reports from Turkey never said how much the transfer is being done for.
Lyanco'nun ilk sağlık kontrolünde problem çıktı..Oyuncuda kıkırdak sorunu göze çarptı.
Ameliyat mı gerekiyor? Dinlenmeyle düzelir mi, bu durum konuşuluyor.
Sağlık ekibi oyuncuyu 2.kez kontrole soktu. Bu kontrol sonrası Beşiktaş kararını verecek.
