Juventus are still eyeing up a move for Arsenal defender Gabriel Magalhaes as a replacement for Mathijs de Ligt, should he leave this summer.

That’s according to Gazzetta Dello Sport, who say Juventus are looking to the ‘foreign market’ for possible replacements for the Dutchman.

De Ligt has been linked with a move away from Juventus this summer, with Chelsea currently thought to be pushing for a deal as they look to replace Antonio Rudiger and Andreas Christensen.

Should he leave Turin, a replacement would need to be found, and Arsenal star Gabriel is one of the players to have been linked.

Several reports over the last few months have identified the Brazilian as a potential target, although it’s always been made clear there have been no firm bids or anything of that nature.

Gazzetta continue that today, stating that Juventus find Gabriel’s profile ‘convincing’ and believe a deal could be done for ‘around €30m’.

According to the newspaper, he is ‘one of the most interesting targets’ available to them at this moment in time.

There’s still no hint of a firm move for now, but the Arsenal star is very much on Juventus’ radar if De Ligt leaves at any point.
