Trabzonspor are set to continue their summer overhaul under respected manager Ersun Yanal, and want to sign Tottenham’s DeAndre Yedlin. The US international spent last season on loan at Sunderland where he made 23 Premier League appearances.

Trabzonspor, 6 times Turkish League Champions, have signed lots of young talents from across the world like Dallas’ Fabian Castillo and Trencin’s Matus Bero, as well as Porto’s Hyun-Yun Suk and Lokomotiv Moskow’s Jan Durica.

Trabzonspor chief executive Nevzat Aydin is currently at England to finalise transfer but Tottenham want €3m for the 23-year old. Trabzonspor want to make it happen for around €2m and talks ongoing according to Sporx. Yedlin is well known for his speed and athleticism and but it’s safe to say a lack of defensive awareness is the weakest area of his game.

Yedlin is said to be keen to play in Turkey, and sees himself no future at Tottenham, being behind Kyle Walker and Kieran Trippier in the pecking order.
