Earlier today, Corriere dello Sport stated Barcelona’s Franck Kessié favours a move to England and this gives Tottenham Hotspur an advantage over Juventus.

The midfielder’s desire to make a switch to the Premier League is backed up by Sport, who say Spurs and the Serie A side are joined by Liverpool in the chase for the 26-year-old.

It’s claimed Tottenham are interested while Liverpool could enter the bidding war for Kessié. The English clubs haven’t made an offer yet and the only official proposal has arrived from Juve.

Xavi Hernández has informed Kessié he’s not included in his plans and that’s convinced the player to leave the Camp Nou. Barca are hopeful of getting rid of the Ivory Coast international this week and aim to collect €15m from his sale.

Sport say both the player’s entourage and the La Liga side have tried to get Spurs to make a bid but that hasn’t happened so far.

Tottenham, for their part, have made it known they could make an approach… but haven’t made an offer just yet.

Even though Liverpool like Kessié, he isn’t a priority for them but is a back-up option, and a reasonably priced one.

With Barca and Kessié keen to part ways, the report states he has asked to pick his next destination. If there are no other offers, Sport say the Catalan club will ‘push him’ to accept a move to the Turin club.

And quickly.
