Juventus are continuing contacts with West Ham United over a move for Filip Kostic, with the Italian side in a rush to find a destination for him before tonight’s deadline.
That’s according to Calciomercato, who say there are only a ‘few hours’ left for Juventus to work out a deal and they’re in talks with West Ham to make it happen.
The website explains that Juventus ‘need to give in’ and above all ‘cash in’ on the player and want to do both things quickly as the bureaucratic process to get him to the Premier League is ‘anything but easy’.
West Ham are keen to take him to the London Stadium and have come forward in the last few hours in an attempt to buy him on a permanent basis.
The Hammers are looking to add an attacking winger to their squad and Juventus are doing everything to ensure that their interest does not dwindle away.
The biggest issue is time and not the money involved, with Juventus director of football Cristiano Giuntoli looking for €15m and West Ham seemingly okay with that. The Italians will also do a loan deal with a right to buy if need be.
Kostic, for his part, would earn €2.5m per year with West Ham and it seems all parties are working to make the move happen in time.
