The Italian press has often doubted Sandro Tonali’s future at Newcastle United.
Reports over the last couple of months have linked the midfielder with a move to Juventus and that talk has not quite died down.
La Gazzetta dello Sport have reported Juve see the Newcastle United midfielder as a potential summer target, as they look to bolster their midfield.
They are reportedly looking to target either Tonali or Atalanta’s Ederson and are already considering a plan to land the Italy international.
The report says Newcastle United could be offered Douglas Luiz as a makeweight in deal for Tonali and doesn’t report if Newcastle United would consider this
Tonali has become a regular for Eddie Howe’s side this season, playing 30 times in all competitions, scoring thrice.
His agent has previously dismissed talk of a potential exit and this can could rule out a summer transfer for the Azzurri star. Even if a move was to go through, Juventus could have to pay a substantial fee to make this happen..
