Earlier this month, we relayed news from Italy that Inter Milan are keen on signing Danilo and the fullback had already said ‘yes’ to the Serie A club for a transfer.

FcInterNews now claims the Nerazzurri have found an agreement with the Brazil international for a four year deal worth €4m per season. This was done with the help of intermediary Fabrizio De Vecchi.

Despite finding an agreement with the Manchester City player, the Italian side are unable to complete the 27-year-old’s transfer because they have failed to find an agreement with Pep Guardiola’s side.

Inter offered €18m for the South American (€15m fixed plus €3m in bonuses), but the proposal was short of the Premier League winners’ valuation as the English side are demanding €25m for their player.

Therefore, the report explains Inter have ‘cooled’ their interest in Danilo in recent weeks.

Last week, the same website reported Victor Moses has emerged as a cheaper alternative to Danilo and FcInterNews now claims the Chelsea owner player is in the ‘front row’.
