Despite Fenerbahçe already agreeing terms with Fred to bolster their midfield, the club haven’t given up on the idea of also signing Tottenham’s Tanguy Ndombélé.
The Frenchman is very much on the outskirts of the Spurs project these days, and there’s no denying that an exit would do everyone the world of good.
It would put an end to his Tottenham misery, which has been ongoing for quite some time, and the Turkish side are prepared to get that done, according to Takvim.
They explain that negotiations with both Spurs and the midfielder’s agent ‘continue’, as the Süper Lig club are aiming to seal the deal for both Ndombélé and the aforementioned Brazilian.
What type of deal that would be isn’t made clear, but considering they are paying cash for Fred, they might only try for a loan when it comes to the Tottenham man, as their funds won’t be unlimited.
We’ll have to wait and see, but work is in progress, and that could mean more money, or at the very least more wage wiggle room, for Daniel Levy to play around with.
