BeinSportsTR have reported Arsenal forward Lucas Perez is still the primary target for Fenerbahçe this summer, but if they fail in their attempts to land the Spaniard they’ll turn their attention to Aston Villa’s Jonathan Kodjia.

Fenerbahçe are expected to part ways with the likes of Robin van Persie and Emmanuel Emenike this summer, so the Turkish side will be in the market for a new forward.

The club are reportedly considering signing Perez on a permanent deal and they’re also willing to pay the player €4m a season. Perez has struggled in his debut season at Arsenal and may need to leave the Gunners in order to get more playing time next season.

Perez is Fenerbahçe’s No.1 target, but Bein Sports say their plan B is still Aston Villa forward Kodjia. The Ivorian was linked with the Turkish giants earlier in the month, with claims at the weekend he was an option if they fail to sign Perez this summer.

Kodjia only joined Aston Villa last summer, but after the Championship side failed to get promotion back to the Premier League there have been claims the player could move on.Fenerbahçe would be looking to loan the Aston Villa star for the season if their plan to sign Perez fails.

The Aston Villa option is stated as being Plan B.
