Trabzonspor are working hard to convince John Lundstram to leave Rangers in the summer and swap Philippe Clement’s team for Turkey.
That’s according to Gunebakis, who say they are ‘continuing their attempts’ to get the player on a free transfer from Ibrox.
They explain that Trabzonspor have accelerated their transfer efforts ahead of next season, contacting several players they believe could prove to be valuable additions.
Lundstram is one of them, with his Rangers contract expiring in the summer and him currently on course to leave Ibrox on a free transfer.
Lundstram has again been a regular for Rangers this season and indeed under Clement since his arrival, making 31 appearances under him to date, but is yet to sign an extension to his current contract, which expires in the summer.
Thus, is appears he will be leaving Ibrox on a free transfer and Trabzonspor are working to convince him to make his next stop Turkey.
Whether they can convince the Rangers man to do so still appears to be in the appear but they’re continuing their attempts to sign him nonetheless as planning for next season gets fully underway.
