PSG are continuing to worry about the future of Kylian Mbappe, and the longer time goes without the striker agreeing to a contract extension, the bigger and more valid that worry will become.

Mbappe has a contract with PSG that expires at the end of next season, and that puts the Ligue 1 side under pressure, meaning they’re considering alternatives should he leave. One of those is Liverpool’s Mohamed Salah.

L’Equipe‘s Sunday edition reports PSG have already been in touch with Salah’s camp, presumably trying to find out whether the Liverpool player would be interested in a move to France.

There’s an awareness at PSG that the transfer would be very expensive, with Jurgen Klopp’s side surely demanding a huge transfer fee, however, if Mbappe leaves then the Parisians would be ready to take the plunge.

There’s also been some sort of contact with Barcelona’s Lionel Messi, and L’Equipe present Bayern Munich’s Robert Lewandowski as another option.
