There’s a claim in the Turkish media that Trabzonspor are showing interest in Southampton defenders Jan Bednarek and Armel Bella-Kotchap ahead of the summer window.
The Super Lig side have again been linked with Saints forward Paul Onuachu following recent reports they are in talks to sign him, and actually getting somewhere this time.
Taka Gazete report Trabzonspor have now added the two Southampton central defenders to their wishlist as they look to strengthen ahead of next season.
It’s claimed Trabzonspor are monitoring the situation with Bednarek and Bella-Kotchap, with both players expected to find new clubs.
Following Southampton’s relegation back to the Championship, multiple players will be leaving St Mary’s this summer.
Again, Onuachu is reported to be a target for the Trabzon side after recent claims they have made an offer for the Nigeria international.
This week we covered reports Southampton have dropped their valuation of the 30-year-old, which could finally see him return to Trabzonspor. Onuachu had an impressive loan spell with the Turkish side last season, scoring 17 goals in 25 matches.
