Lyon are ‘considering’ a move for Crystal Palace star Michael Olise this month as John Textor looks to make a mark at his new club.
That’s according to Media Foot, who say that the French side are looking for a new midfielder and Olise is on their radar.
Olise has been shining under Patrick Vieira’s leadership at Crystal Palace since last season, and his ‘potential is obvious’ to those who have been watching him.
This season alone he has seven assists to his name and is likely to add to that tally as he continues to develop and impress for the Eagles.
Reports in England have already linked him with a potential move to PSG but it is another French club, Lyon, who are eyeing him according to Media Foot.
They are on the hunt for a ‘talented and fit’ midfielder this month, with the arrival of business man John Textor opening up a new era financially for them.
He ‘seems to want to make a mark’ at his new club and Olise ‘has everything’ to be his first recruit at the club.
There is a belief he would be ‘perfect’ for manager Laurent Blanc, who seems to have made enquiries with his former France teammate Vieira.
Crystal Palace are believed to value the midfielder at more than €20m and are unlikely to be willing to sanction a sale of such a key player this month.
With Textor enjoying influence at both clubs, though, perhaps there is a deal to be done this month as he eyes new signings at Lyon.
