Turkish website NetHaber report Besiktas are closing in on signing Manchester City goalkeeper Claudio Bravo, who will become a free agent at the end of the season.

It’s reported talks between the two sides have reached the final stage but there are still some minor issues to be sorted out including contract length and wages.

NetHaber claim Besiktas are offering a one year deal with a clause to extend it further, but the 37 year old is looking for a two year guaranteed contract.

In addition, the Turkish side are hoping to pay €1.2m per season to Bravo plus a €400K signing on fee. The Chilean reportedly wants €1.6m a season, plus a €800K signing on fee.

Bravo’s wife had also some reservations about a move to Turkey but NetHaber claim she’s now okay to move to Istanbul after talking with the player’s international teammates Mauricio Isla and Gary Medel, who both had spells in the Super Lig.

This season the former Barcelona goalkeeper has made 16 appearances for Pep Guardiola’s side in all competitions, keeping four clean sheets in the process.
