Juventus already have an agreement in place with Romelu Lukaku to sign him from Chelsea, after Inter Milan decided against re-signing him.
That’s according to Tuttosport, relayed by FC Inter News, who say Lukaku will not be returning to Inter Milan after a ‘heated call’ with sporting director Piero Ausilio last night.
They say that the Belgian’s behaviour ‘was not liked’ after he also spoke to Juventus about a transfer and thus, they decided to close negotiations with Chelsea.
Now he and the Blues are waiting for Juventus director of football Cristiano Giuntoli to make his move instead, with him having already agreed a deal with the player on an €11m net contract.
Juventus also already have an agreement in place with Chelsea for a €37m deal plus €2m in bonuses but they’ve put a condition in place, they have to sell Dusan Vlahovic first.
Their hope is that they can sell him in a deal to PSG for €70m plus, with the striker giving his consent to the move and Luis Enrique putting him at the top of his list of targets.
The Parisians in turn need to sell Hugo Ekitike to free up space in their squad but that seems unlikely to prove too difficult and thus Vlahovic will be able to move and open up the space for Lukaku to arrive at Juventus.
Only the timing of when the transfers will take place is uncertain, according to Tuttosport, who insist Chelsea have an agreement in place with Juventus, who in turn have a deal with Lukaku, all ready to be signed when the time is right.
