Galatasaray are set to make an attempt to sign Chelsea striker David Datro Fofana, reports say.
Turkish outlet Fanatik says officials from the Istanbul side are set to fly to London to try to get the signing done.
It’s claimed that Galatasaray had already made a move in the January window, and despite the failure, there have been ‘positive results’ after recent contact.
Ther report says that Fofana wants to leave Chelsea, and the Turkish club are ‘very close to the happy ending’.
A Galatasaray representative is going to England this week, and the idea is to try and arrange a loan deal.
Signed from Norwegian side Molde in January, Fofana had very little playing time in his first months at Chelsea, with 14 appearances made. That’s why the loan doesn’t sound like a bad idea.
Galatasaray are also interested in Hakim Ziyech, but Fanatik claims that chase is ‘on hold’, as the player is likely to move to Saudi Arabia.
