According to a claim in the Turkish media, Galatasaray are showing= interest in Liverpool midfielder Ryan Gravenverch.
The Dutchamn only arrived at Liverpool last summer for a fee in the region of £34m but struggled to hold a regular place in Jurgen Klopp’s starting eleven.
Yeni Safak today report on Galatasaray’s pursuit for a new central midfielder after recently not taking up the option to sign Tanguy Ndombele on a permanent deal from Tottenham Hotspur. The Turkish champions are looking to bring in a high-profile midfielder to partner Lucas Torreira next season and the Liverpool man has emerged as a target.
The Turkish media outlet claim Galatasaray president Dursun Özbek, along with sporting director Cenk Ergün, will now travel to England to try and complete a deal for Gravenverch.
It’s reported Cimbom are looking to get a loan deal for the player and that Liverpool will consider agreeing to this as, according to the report, he’s not in Arne Slot’s plans for next season.
The 22-year-old made 38 appearances for Liverpool last season, scoring four goals. He’s contracted to the Reds until June 2028.
