Östersund chairman Daniel Kindberg has told the Swedish media he hasn’t heard anything from Swansea City about signing Saman Ghoddos.
This week OFK midfielder Ken Sema was sold to Premier League side Watford and Ghoddos could also exit the club this summer.
Speaking to Fotbol Direkt, Kindberg was asked about interest from other clubs and especially Swansea City: “There are interested clubs and there are bids but nothing that’s good enough. Swansea? No, nothing from there yet. I do not rule that out – but as yet we’ve not been contacted by them.”
Last month Graham Potter was installed as the new Swansea City manager after his impressive work at OFK. The Englishman led the Swedish club to the knockout stages of the Europa League and Ghoddos was a key player in this happening.
This has led to speculation the Iran international will be leaving OFK this summer and a number of clubs have been linked with the attacker.
It comes as no surprise Swansea City are being linked with the player after Potter’s arrival at the Liberty stadium.
