Trabzonspor president Muharrem Usta has told the Turkish media his club are interested in AC Milan’s Jose Sosa and Tottenham Hotspur’s Moussa Sissoko.
The Frenchman could leave the Premier League side this summer after finding his chances limited last season, and not being one of Mauricio Pochettino’s favoured players.
Milliyet have reported on comments made by Usta, with regards to the Tottenham and AC Milan players: “We are talking with Sosa, and also we have held talks with Sissoko. Both are quality players. For Moussa, he’s an important player, a player Tottenham paid €35m for just a year ago. We have to talk with him and Sosa, so let’s see what the future brings. One of them might join our club, one of them may be with us. Only time will tell.”
Trabzonspor are looking to add to their squad this summer, and have been linked with the Tottenham midfielder in recent days. The Turkish side have already brought in Serdar Tasci from Spartak Moscow, and they’ll be hoping to add to this.
Sissoko joined Tottenham from Newcastle United last summer for a reported fee of £30m, but the attacking midfielder failed to make an impact during his debut season with the club.
Sissoko made just eight Premier League starts last season, and with the World Cup next year the midfielder will want to be playing regularly in the next campaign.
