In a never ending rumour, Paul Pogba is said to be close to the exit door at Manchester United once again.
With the midfielder’s contract expiring in a few months, there’s now a golden chance for many clubs who’ve been interested in his signing for years.
Today, Italian outlet Tutto Mercato Web highlights the chase from Paris Saint Germain in an exclusive of theirs, where sporting director Leonardo is said to have Pogba ‘in the shortlist’ at Parc des Princes.
It’s said there was already an ‘important approach’ from the official last summer, but Manchester United made ‘high requests’, demanding around €50m for the sale.
Now in a new attempt, it’s said Leonardo has been ‘pressing hard’.
PSG are said to have another target for the position, which is Chelsea’s N’Golo Kante, but the problem is that the Blues consider him to be ‘non-transferable’, so that makes the Manchester United star the first option.
Pogba’s arrival in Paris is said to be ‘close’, and that would make him a ‘front page man of French nationality’, now that Kylian Mbappe is expected to leave for Real Madrid.
