Last summer, Chelsea allowed Michy Batshuayi to join Crystal Palace on a season-long loan deal after he signed an extension with the Blues until 2022.

Roy Hodgson has restricted the 26-year-old to only seven league starts this term and he managed two goals an assist in 18 league appearances.

The Belgium international is expected to return to Stamford Bridge after his loan deal with the Eagles expires. Despite his struggles at Palace, the Chelsea owned player has caught the attention of Trabzonspor.

Alexander Sørloth spent last season on loan at the Turkish club and helped them score 76 goals in the league.

The Norwegian moved to RB Leipzig, and Trabzonspor have struggled in his absence this season, scoring only 50 goals in 40 league matches this campaign.

In search of a new striker, Ajansspor explain the Süper Lig side have Batshuayi, Parma’s Gervinho, Darmstadt 98’s Serdar Dursun and a few others on their ‘agenda.’

It’s claimed a ‘plan is made’ to sign the former Marseille man on a season-long loan deal, with the idea to further extend the Belgian’s stay if he manages to impress next season.

Batshuayi’s contract at Chelsea runs down in 2022. Hence, Thomas Tuchel’s side cannot insert a buying option, if they decide to let him leave on loan in the next few months.

Trabzonspor could surely only take Batshuayi on loan if he extends his contract at Chelsea until 2023.
