Barcelona’s Ousmane Dembélé has been linked with a move to Manchester City.

The winger has a year left on his contract at the Camp Nou and it’s still not clear what his plans are for the future.

It was reported earlier there’s a meeting scheduled between the 24-year-old’s agent and the leaders of the La Liga side.

Tuesday’s edition of Mundo Deportivo explains ‘today could be a key day’ for the France international, and that’s because his representatives will meet the Catalan club’s officials, where the latter will explain their plans for the player.

Ronald Koeman’s side will ‘propose a renewal’ to the former Borussia Dortmund man and if refuses to sign a new deal, Barca will have to either sell or use him in an exchange operation this summer.

A destination the Spanish club can ‘contemplate’ for the wideman is Manchester City, and his profile fits well with the type of player liked by Pep Guardiola.

The ‘main obstacle’ to see the attacker move to City is the ‘determination of Dembélé’, who has ‘barely shown interest’ in leaving the Camp Nou.

He has also not shown interest in signing a new deal with his current employer.

Barcelona must find a quick resolution in order to stop Dembélé leaving the club as a free agent in 2022.
