With Victor Osimhen seemingly too expensive for most clubs out there this season and Harry Kane reluctant to leave Spurs, all eyes are turning towards Randal Kolo Muani.
Manchester United are one of the many clubs who have gone knocking on Eintracht Frankfurt’s door for the striker, and L’Equipe report Paris Saint-Germain are now turning their attention on the Frenchman.
While that could be a problem for the Red Devils, it is made clear the player ‘appreciates the Premier League’, and even if he has been rather quiet publicly, they explain the young forward has ‘never hidden his desire to leave this summer’ in a private setting.
He ideally would like to play at a club featuring in the ‘big matches of the Champions League’, which Manchester United can certainly offer him next year after finishing third in England’s top-tier.
For as long as we can remember, the line from Frankfurt was their star, who arrived on a free last summer, would have to be sold for a fee nearing €100m, which L’Equipe downplay a bit.
They do point out that Manchester United, Bayern Munich and Chelsea were the three clubs to have ‘very concretely’ let their interest known, but the Red Devils are currently seeing their ‘recruitment campaign halted by the potential takeover of the club’, meaning no offer has been made yet.
Paris Saint-Germain reportedly know the operation to sign Randal Kolo Muani would not be as costly as any deal for Osimhen, and the demands behind the scenes from the Bundesliga side would be ‘around €70m’ without bonuses.
And that’s not all, because despite the hope of retaining the 24-year-old, the Germans are being proactive just in case, and are ‘still working on a replacement’, having already contacted Montpeiller for Elye Wahi.
