With the future of Angeliño up in the air at Galatasaray, we have seen the idea that the Turkish side could make a move for Rangers defender Ridvan Yilmaz.
Previous reports suggested the player was unhappy at Ibrox under Philippe Clément, who isn’t playing him all that much, and a return to his home country could be on the cards.
Well, Fanatik, in two separate articles, discuss the fact Galatasaray are interested in the Rangers player, who initially moved to Scotland from Besiktas.
First, they state the club are ‘in talks’ with three players to replace Angeliño, who is expected to have his loan from RB Leipzig cut short, and one of those is Yilmaz.
They then add that should their attempts to sign Stade Brestois’ Bradley Locko, seemingly the preferred option, then attempts to sign the Rangers player ‘will be accelerated’.
How much the young defender would cost Galatasaray isn’t stated, nor whether it would be a permanent transfer or a temporary one.
Just that they are interested and have opened some sort of negotiating channel to get something done.
