The Spain international is the ‘express request’ of Manuel Pellegrini and the Andalusian club’s intention is to please their manager.
Today’s Diario de Sevilla states the Chilean had already requested the former Villarreal man last summer. He’s still on Pellegrini’s agenda and Real Betis haven’t lost track of this operation.
It’s claimed the Spanish club have already contacted Fornals’ entourage to find out if it’s feasible to secure his services.
Over at Super Deporte, they make it clear the West Ham midfielder is the main target for Real Betis.
Their title claims Real Betis are ‘negotiating the signing’ of Fornals with David Moyes’ side.
None of these reports have mentioned whether Fornals wants to leave West Ham for Real Betis this month, but that would be the assumption.
